Operating under Koç University’s Office of the Dean of Students, the Office for Diversity, Inclusion, and Coordination for Students with Disability provides support to Koç University students based on fundamental values ensuring success in higher education, including flexibility, diversity, inclusivity, transparency, student-centeredness, and an emphasis on embracing differences. Koç University distinguishes itself as a leading advocate for inclusivity among Turkish universities, championing equal participation for all students, regardless of gender, religion, language, disability, or cultural background.

The Office for Diversity, Inclusion, and Coordination for Students with Disability is responsible for receiving, reporting, and tracking inquiries and complaints from students regarding unequal or discriminatory practices, attitudes, and situations, and for ensuring that relevant university units are informed in case these practices, attitudes, and situations also constitute disciplinary offenses. Additionally, the Office ensures coordination with all units in developing solutions for unequal or discriminatory practices and situations that students may encounter during their education. Furthermore, the Office engages in efforts to ensure that students have equal and full access to all academic and social opportunities and works to provide platforms where they can express their needs and concerns. The Office for Diversity, Inclusion, and Coordination for Students with Disability is also involved in activities to raise social awareness as well as academic initiatives regarding the Ban on Discrimination and the approach of Diversity and Inclusion, while ensuring that necessary information is provided to faculty members and administrative personnel concerning its goals.
